CMRSA Membership
Thank you for supporting the Critical Mixed Race Studies Association (CMRSA), we are a non-profit organization, field of study, host of the biennial conference Critical Mixed Race Studies conference, and scholars/activists bridging the mixed community through scholarship, art, and cultural production. CMRSA is a counterspace for those interested in critically exploring constructions of race through a multiracial lens. We greatly appreciate your contribution and for joining the CMRSA community!
Your membership grants you the following:
- 2 year membership (valid until December 2025)
- Access to discounted conference rates based on your membership affiliation
- Access to the CMRSA community via membership portal
- Access to exclusive virtual CMRSA events, workshops, and speaker series
- Connections with other Mixed Race Scholars (virtual meetups) and Caucus Groups
- Helps to fund the CMRSA conferences, awards, and nonprofit organization operations
- Your contribution supports the financial security and long term funding of critical mixed race initiatives in academia, the arts, community organizing, and beyond
- Your membership can be written off as a tax deductible donation
If paying for membership fees is a financial hardship, please email us at cmrsmixedrace@gmail.com so we can consider if we can support your request at this time based on the availability of limited association hardship funds. Priority is given to graduate students who have an accepted proposal at an upcoming conference and/or publishing mixed race scholarship as well as international countries with financial hardships globally.
